US Department of Agriculture
KYM currently helps USDA transition from a waterfall to a lean-agile approach using the essential Scale Agile Framework (SAFe). We lead the Agile Release Train (ART) and deliver close to 100% of our story points on time for every program increment (PI) delivering high quality working software that meets business needs. Our delivery focuses on the following values:Clear Values – we set clear expectations for all participants and ask them and their leadership to commit to them making them publicly available to all program staff; Exposing Impediments Quickly and Visibly – our RTE and scrum masters use methods to quickly identify impediments and make them visible to everyone on the program; Reflect, Learn, and Adapt – in each PI, we reserve time to consider what happened, evaluate it, and make changes to improve enabling the ART to function effectively and continually improve. Our team supports major IT systems implementation for USDA – and provide Agile coaches, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Scrum Masters (SM), and Product Management / Owner specialists.
